Nuclear melt downs and contamination are real threats, as is the waste left behind. Right now, scientists and environmental researchers are searching for sustainable and renewable forms of energy that are safe, effective and can be used not only by our generation but future generations to come. Never before has there been this level of concern over our Earth and interest in the use of solar, hydro and wind powered energy generators on a global level. Even though right now many people must still rely on fossil fuels there are plenty of ways to reduce consumption of this type of energy in order to conserve it for the future. Despite all efforts, fossil fuels will eventually run out and humanity will be forced to find an alternative source of energy.
